COACH SUMMITT ON MENTAL TOUGHNESS

This is something I will be putting in our players' lockers before our 7:30 PM practice tonight on the 1st day of school.

“I ask our players to give more of themselves than they think is possible. I know they have more inside of them. I know it. That's why I set such high standards for them physically. I want them to learn how to dig deeper.”

“By doing things when you are too tired, by pushing yourself further than you thought you could -- like running the track after a two-hour practice -- you can become a competitor. Each time you go beyond your perceived limit, you become mentally stronger.”

YOU CAN DO IT!
