WAYS TO GET OPEN
Cut and space-
when you feed the post the shooter spots up and the worst shooter dives to the rim.
What the post should look for:
a. diver
b. double
c. opposite side shooter
d. pro spot (elbow)

Drive and space-
When someone drives from the wing go the crack behind their back and fade to the same side corner. If there is a post player on the block where he is driving, that post must slide to the open spot in the lane. The driver can:
a. throw bounce pass to drifter who is in opposite corner of where he drove
b. jump to throw over to opposite side shooter who is on opposite wing
c. jump stop on block and protect them throw out to crack back in corner

John Wooden’s 3 on 2 conditioning drill

Offensive Rebounding
-Get in the slice of pie
-Cover the elbows not the corners
-Shooter takes one step in for long rebound then sprints back
-Must have system for who is rebounding and who is getting back
In the NCAA in one season teams shot:
33% on first shot attempt
60% on first offensive rebound
80% on second offensive rebound
